Conventional Treatments For the past 65 years conventional termite treatment methods have involved the application of treatment materials at critical areas in and around the structure known from experience to be susceptible to termite infiltration. This creates “treatment zones” that negatively impact termites passing through the zone which they pass on to their nest mates. New, non-repellent Termiticide technology continues to make use of conventional treatment materials. Monitoring and Baiting The use of monitoring and baiting systems is the most technological form of termite control. With a termite monitoring and baiting service program, unobtrusive bait stations are placed around the perimeter of your home. Your Burgess and Capeway Technician will routinely monitor these stations for termite activity.
